The Structural AI Workshop seeks to unite leading experts from different fields to delve into the transformative role of structure in shaping the future of artificial intelligence. Over the past few years, advancements in AI—especially large language models—have revolutionized how we think about computation and problem-solving. However, as scaling laws plateau, the need for new paradigms has become more evident.
At the heart of this workshop is the exploration of "structure" as a unifying concept across disciplines. From mathematical frameworks like category theory, to practical constructs in software engineering, the notion of structure offers a pathway to understanding and designing AI systems with enhanced efficiency, interpretability, and robustness.
The primary aim of this workshop is to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, spark innovative ideas, and identify previously unexplored opportunities where structural insights can advance AI research and its practical applications.
