Shanghai Qi Zhi Institute PI.
Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), advised by Jonathan P. How. During his Ph.D., his research focused on reinforcement learning, robotic perception, autonomous driving, and more. His work has been published in several conferences and journals in the fields of robotics, machine learning, and autonomous driving. During and after his Ph.D., he served as a machine learning researcher at Meta Reality Lab and several startups in the autonomous driving and robotics fields. He joined the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) full-time at the end of 2023, where his research is now centered on embodied intelligence, with a primary focus on foundational algorithm research for general embodied intelligence.
